Mine was also a week – It was Camp Fox on Catalina Island. I went as a camper, as all my four siblings. I have also worked as a councilor, staff, and director. I lived there a summer too, my brother once lived there FULL TIME when he was running the place. When that was going on it was a full family affair. My dad built many of the structures and my mom and her friends went out on weekends and painted the cabins. I still remember the songs and I can never here YMCA again. Years ago I found a box of slides in a thrift store that were from CAMP FOX from the 60s – 70s! Magical!
