However that was not due to the manufacturer’s fault, but many years later when my husband–el Cheapo–your Daddy–took the car for reupholstering to Tijuana!! Big mistake. They ruined the seat mechanism.
Still not as bad an experience as the infamous YUGO from the 80’s!!!!!
