They seem like something you’d like!” She was totally right. There is something oddly transfixing about these images.

OK, so the girl with the wind blowing in her hair is a leeeetle bit cheesy, but hey. They still made me look.

Jamie Beck & Kevin Burg are the pioneers of this technique, essentially a sophisticated .gif, that creates a little world within a photograph. “More than a photo, less than a video.”
