The Most Charming (vintage) Xmas Book Ever.

Since we were just talking about Christmas Pixies earlier this week, I wanted to share with you a new book I recently acquired. I hope you guys will love these illustrations as much as I do!

The drawings are so sweet and lovely….I love the little girls and the amazing owl….but the last one is almost my favorite! So simple. Images are from the book “Christmastime in Pixieland” by Dennis Burley. Illustrations by Felicitas Kuhn. 1970.

Oh my goodness! I am so glad I clicked over here today because I have been looking for the name of this illustrator. I have a big fat kids Christmas book (I’m pretty sure it’s simply called The Big Book of Christmas). The strange thing about this book is that it offers absolutely no information on the different illustrators (and there are no signatures in the drawings). Thanks for solving the mystery!

Wow! I recognise those illustrations.I’ve also got a copy of My Big Christmas Book. My copy is in poor condition so I’ve been cutting out pictures to decorate swing tags. Lovely book!
