I love a good glue gun. I totally understand the nuttiness of sewing. That is how I feel about cutting hair. I can’t even begin to understand the layers, etc. I bet you would totally rock the sewing lady!

Melissa–I’d love to know which Burda patterns worked for you. I used one and was really happy. I love that you can print out a pattern from home. To me, that is the bomb! And I must admit that your amazing list of things for the neophyte sewer was super helpful and made me try some Etsy patterns.

I’ll totally have to check out Olive + S patterns. I used to read the designers blog before she started doing the patterns. Thanks for the reminder!

It’s something that I would LOVE to master because I have an endless amount of cute Halloween costumes, dress-up get-ups, and of course TONS of cute little tops and dresses for my little 3yr old Mars that I would LOVE to make…
