Friday Link-o-Rama!

OK, after pranking you a bit with that last post, I thought I’d leave you with some goodies to check out over the weekend!

1. At Home with Frecklewonder.

You know her as the purveyor of sassy vintage dresses, but have you seen Jenny’s amazing new dining room? I’m in love! Each chair is different…..so terrific!

2. Garlands and Racetracks.

Our sweet friend Stephanie at Modern Parents, Messy Kids is on fire this week. She created this genius easter garland out of paint chip swatches (look out Home Depot! I’m comin’ for yooooou!)

And she also posted some adorable ways to create a cool race track. In addition to simply drawing a fun track, I really loved this tape. It would be amazing to pack in a travel bag!

3. Cutest Treat Bags EVER.

I think these gingham treat bags from Shop Lulu are for Easter, but I really they would be adorable year round!

4. Yummy Psychedelic Recipe Book.

The adorable ladies of Rock Scissor Paper found this amazing vintage recipe book. It has fab illustrations inside—AND a recipe for coffee jelly. Er…..yum?

5. Tiny Treasures from Two Creative Ladies.
My sweet friend Kristin of KLT Works came up with a really cool creative challenge. She sent 5 bundles of fabric to 5 lucky contestants and they had to make something. As luck would have it, one of my other faves, Heather of 3RingCircus Vintage, entered and, well….check it out!

The other entries are really cool too. Go here to see more.

6. Waah. Wolfie is too “big” for Eric Carle cupcakes.

Wolfie’s birthday is next week and I’m hunting for fun cupcake options. This Hungry Caterpillar cupcake train from Coco Cake just made me smile from ear to ear! Alas, I know he would rather have Angry Bird cupcakes. Or a bagel with cream cheese.

7. Never Too Little to ROCK OUT!

Speaking of things that make me smile, this video kills me!!! (When I’m done smiling.) This kiddo is SO PSYCHED to hear this song!

Last but not least, don’t forget to enter our giveaways.

1) TWO tickets to the sold out MOM2.0 conference in New Orleans! A $700 value!!! (you need to fly yourself there, mamas….this is just the tix!) Enter here!

2) This coolest address stamp EVERRRRRR! From Letter Girl. Enter HERE.

HAVE AN AMAZING WEEKEND friends!!!

New Feature! New Focus! Weekly Granny

Hello everyone. Happy happy Friday! Normally this is when we do our Weekly Kiddo, but I’m so excited to announce we’ll be mixing it up around here. I’m really thrilled to introduce you to a new feature that is an homage to the the sassy older crowd! Of course we’ll still stay true to our roots, but we don’t want to limit ourselves. Move over kiddos….it’s time for the Weekly Granny!

APRIL FOOLS!!!! OK, I was just funnin’ ya. We are still committed to being your #1 Vintage Kiddo resource!! But those ladies are pretty sassy, no??? I actually love seeing photos of old ladies who are still rockin’ the cool style. One of my favorites is socialite and entrepenure Iris Apfel (check her out over here). If you really want to see some fabulous, stylish grannies, swing by the blog “Advanced Style,” Ari Seth Cohen’s street style fashion blog that is ALL for the older set (dapper gents and over-the-top ladies!). I love it!

Hope you have an awesome weekend everyone!!!!!
