There is a philosophy in Sweden….there’s no such thing as bad weather. Just bad clothing! Meaning, if you bundle up in the right gear, kids can play outside rain or shine. I love this way of thinking. Nothing beats fresh air. Our friend’s at Polarn O. Pyret are huge believers in this way of thought and are holding their 4th annual EVERY DAY IS PLAY DAY week. Twice a year they make it their mission to encourage everyone to play outside, no matter the weather.  And no one keeps your kids covered in rainy/cold/sunny/snowy weather better than Polarn O. Pyret.
This weekend was surprisingly chilly—the Bay Area weather is notoriously fickle and the temperature really dipped low. We had planned on going on a little hike with Sammy dog and even though the sun wasn’t out, we didn’t let the cold weather deter us one bit! Wolfie bundled up in a super cozy parka and was comfy the entire day!

This jacket is the BOMB, friends. It also comes in fuchsia and has SO MANY special details—things like a detachable hood, reflectors, thumb holes on the cuffs, a cool little zip cover so if it gets really cold and you zip allllll the way up, it doesn’t rub your chin. This is one super smart jacket, friends.
Wolfie is also wearing the PoP Colored Slim Fit jeans, which are really terrific. Skinny leg, but still lots of stretch for movement/running/climbing. If you have been a long time reader, then you know Wolfie LOVES these jeans.

1) Go outside and play with your kids. Submit your photos and tell Polarn O. Pyret (PoP) what you and your kiddos did. Each day PoP will randomly select one $50 gift certificate winner from all those who have submitted photos and/or stories. You can submit your stories and photos right here. Easy peasy! Oh, and you don’t have to be wearing PoP clothing. Just having FUN OUTDOORS!
2) Keep track of how much time you played outside each day and let PoP know on Facebook. They’re looking to beat the 1,100 hours everyone logged this past November.
3) And finally, share your photos on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and/or Instagram! Be sure to tag with #polarnopyretusa and #everydayaplayday.
