Hooper’s Room Tour {It’s a good one!}

Hey friends! I have a super fun room tour for you guys today. It’s a little bit vintage, a little bit modern and a whole lotta cute. The adorable Ashely (of The Stork & The Beanstalk) has an equally adorable son named Hooper (so cute, right??). You might remember him as one of our fabulous Weekly Kiddos. Well check out the sweet room where he lays his little head!

SO cute huh! I chatted with Hooper’s mama Ashley and she told me a little bit about the room:

“Most everything in the room is used! The crib, made by Oeuf, was purchased on craigslist for a fraction of the price. The chair and danish style dresser were also purchased on craiglist (yay craigslist!). The wooden crates were found at a flea market.”

Many of the toys were Ashley’s own from when she was a child and the old cars were her dad’s. So sweet!

“The Spanish posters were  purchased while we were in Cuba and I love them! They were the first thing we bought for the room and I love that they came from such a dreamy place. ” {You can check out more of her Cuban adventure over here.}

Fabulous job, Miss Ashley! Hooper’s room is the perfect mix of nostalgia and mid-century.I’m pleased to report Hooper is expecting a little brother verrrrry soon.I can’t wait to see what Ashley dreams up for the new bebe’s room!

    Ah this is a great room and what a lucky boy with that amazing chair!

    HOLY MACKEREL! That dresser is THE SAME as our china cabinet!! Same handles, same wood, everything. Ashley, do you know the designer or provenance of the dresser? I can’t find a signature or stamp on it anywhere!

    Also: I had completely forgotten about the Fisher Price crib activity set–thanks for the sense memory!

      I’ll take a look when I get home, not sure who the designer of the credenza is. We’re having some construction done on our kitchen, so things are all over the place at the moment! So awesome that you have the matching china cabinet! Would love to see a pic!!

      Hooper loves his Fisher Price activity set. It was mine as a baby :)

    Such an awesome room! And those Cuba posters are so dreamy. Lucky Hooper!

    Hooper is such a lucky kid! Ashley spends so much time decorating. I’m biased because I’m her sister, but I think she’s the best mom I’ve ever known.

    What a great room! I love that it has just the right amount of toys and such to be lived in and ‘real’ but not so much as to be cluttered. Also thought they did a great job of adding color and personality to a neutral wall and floor color. Bravo!

    This is so great! I particularly love the lower case! What a lucky boy, Hooper is–well dressed and has such a sweet pad to boot! Thank you so much for sharing, Ashley!

    Love the room! I am about to redo Judah’s room since he isn’t a baby anymore and more of a big boy. This inspired me to bring up our chair into his room (we have the same exact leather chair ) when Scott purchased this town home the owners made him keep all their old furniture which include the leather chair and some fantastic teak furniture :-)

  8. Huckleberry says

    And I thought that we had a nice collection of vintage toys for our son, this is completely amazing!
