Vintage Kiddo Retro Round Up

Well, I’m back in SLC for another week of in house consulting fun (and it actually is fun–I love this company so freaking much…) But before I left I spent an amazing bachelorette weekend away with my wonderful friend in Napa where we spent most of the time laughing to the point of peeing in our pants. I hope you caught a glimpse of the beautiful place we stayed on Instagram! But I can’t lie–a bit of time in between glasses of wine, I did lounge with my computer and find some vintage kiddo goodness to share with you! Enjoy!

I think I wore the exact same little outfit when I was a little baby! So perfect for a winter baby! From Etsy seller, Potato Cake Vintage.

But for all of the parents out there who aren’t into pink for their little girlies, I present this wonderful vintage primary color top WITH a yellow circus elephant to boot.  Now, that is some serious awesomeness! From Etsy sellers, Little Blue House.

These cloth books from the fifties are so sweet. I remember loving mine so much as a child! From Etsy seller, Noodle and Lou Vintage.

You need to choo choo choose this sweet train matching outfit. From Etsy Pella James Vintage.

Meet Sallie Rose!

Sallie Rose will be 4 in October and she is as unique as her name. And I truly mean that because her mama Cassie sent me this photo as an introduction to Miss Sallie Rose.

Yeah. Exactly.  How can you not love a kiddo who combines welding and gymnastics outfits?

Sallie Rose loves to wear dresses and of course anything that is fancy like princess costumes or ballet leotards. She also loves her accessories. She loves to wear sunglasses, hats, rain boots or cowgirl boots (her Mom is from Texas), and she usually always has her purse with her.

She loves to play with her friends and she really enjoys anything artistic. She also loves to make her new little sister, Lulie, smile.  I hope she shows Lulie all of her fashion tricks. And of course how to ride her pony!

PS:  Do YOU have a stylish kiddo you’d like to show off? Send ‘em our way! You can find submission details here. We love all kinds of kiddos…. vintage and thrift loving liddles, modern grooviness tots and simply sweet, down-to-earth kiddos.

Some grand vintage children’s clothing for you!

Well, what a wonderful weekend that was! Full of joy and laughter and great vintage shopping and oh, I’m just so happy that my wonderful wonderful wonderful friend, Jenn is back in town from London ready to get married down in Santa Cruz in September! Hurrah!  But of course, between the hours long walks gabbing, mojito toasts for Jen’s bachelorette party and hanging with the Peach and Eric, this has been one of the best weekends of the summer so far. But of course, I HAD to spend some time finding great vintage goodies for your kiddos. YEAH! Enjoy!

Behold, the most awesome bow tie ever. EVER. And your kiddo could wear it! From Etsy seller, UDA Kids.

I know I’ve featured the Fisher Price house before, but not for $16.00!  Um–please someone buy it NOW! From Etsy seller, Little Blue House.

All time favorite children’s hits! Volume 2, no less. Sign me up! From Etsy seller, Audrey Blissful!

I’m completely in love with this little doxie top.  This makes me want to have another baby just so I can buy this top and put it on a baby. From Etsy seller, Fuzzymama.

Perfection. This jacket is perfection. From Etsy seller, Olivia Vintage Kids.

This bib summarizes the Peach’s relationship with our cat beautifully.  I’m sure others are familiar with the cat/baby dynamic. Tee hee! From Etsy seller, Noodle and Lou.

OK, another piece of perfection. Nautical perfection from Healthtex. From Etsy seller, StarlingDarlin.

Ready your little one for a rodeo with this cozy western flannel top! From Etsy seller, Skippy Haha Vintage.

Happy Monday, folks!

Meet “Little Miss”!

I knew I was going to get some serious cuteness when Stacy Hart, proprietress of one of my all time favorite Etsy shops for vintage children’s clothing, Hart and Sew  offered to share some images of her oldest girlie, known as Little Miss. And let me tell you, Little Miss did not disappoint!

You can tell from that smile and her sweet dance moves that this little kiddo clearly enjoys life to the fullest!  According to her mama, Little Miss loves to sing and dance and is always performing and making up funny songs.

Little Miss is a devoted and caring big sister to little Lark and a (mostly!) obedient daughter.  She is equal parts sweet and sassy—which I think is the best combo!

She also loves to play dress up and changes her clothes several times a day, pretending to be anything from a princess to a pirate. Just my kind of girl!

Some of her favorite things to do are ride her bike, skateboard, paint, read books, build sandcastles at the lake, and help her mama with the laundry by putting daddy’s shirts on hangers.

She is very outgoing and makes friends with kids instantly wherever we go. As for adults, her golden curls never fail to get attention from them.

And congrats to Little Miss, who will be starting school this fall!  She is really excited about it, but her mama thinks mostly so she can wear a backpack. Tee hee!

We adore you, Little Miss!
